Utilities in 2010 |

The City of St. Albert's utility rate model is based on the principle that utility systems -- water, sewer and solid waste -- should be self-sustainable. The rates are calculated to provide sufficient revenue to cover operations for the year and for future capital costs.
The City is committed to providing residents with reliable utility services. To ensure this important infrastructure is maintained and services are well delivered, utility rates will increase by 9.5% in 2010, resulting in an additional $8.06 per month in charges.
