Turf Maintenance
The City of St. Albert is well known for its beautiful boulevards and luscious green spaces. Public Works maintains almost 670 hectares of turf through out the City’s parks, sports fields, boulevards and natural areas. During the summer is when you will see the majority of the City crews while they are maintaining these grass areas.

Priorities are given to areas such as City Hall, the entrances to the city, St. Albert Trail, River Valley, Tourist Information Center, cemetery and the Arts and Heritage sites. These areas are usually cut once every week.
All cutting schedules are weather dependent.

Access to City Property Permit
Should you require access through City property to perform maintenance on your own property you must obtain an access permit. They can be acquired from the Public Works office during regular business hours or you can download the form below. Currently there is no charge.
