The Opportunity:

The City of St. Albert has a great opportunity to join our Capital Projects team for a term position as a Senior Project Manager.  The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directly managing major capital projects from initiation to project close-out.  This position will provide project management duties including planning, budgeting, design review, tender review, construction coordination, contract administration, field inspection, construction completion and final acceptances.   This position will also provide project management leadership and guidance to intermediate and junior project managers.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant should have post secondary education in the Architectural or Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) fields with a P. Eng., C.E.T, or AAA designation.  Candidates should have significant experience in municipal construction and strong computer skills.   Candidates must posses a valid driver’s license.  Membership in a professional organization such as APEGGA, ASET or AAA is preferred.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. PMP designation would be an asset.

Hours of Work:

Compressed work schedule of 72 hours bi-weekly (Monday - Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 with a regular day off every two weeks).

Salary Range:

$72,324 - $87,993 per annum. In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a comprehensive benefit package.
