Recreation Services

Recreation Services provides recreation opportunities, programs, facilities and services to foster strong community identity and enhance personal well-being.

The Recreation Services Department:

• Provides leadership and support to Community Development for community groups and recreation organizations.
• Conducts programs for residents, including aquatics, fitness, children's programs and public skating.
• Coordinates a multi-stakeholder approach to recreation and parks facility development and management.
• Networks with a variety of governmental and community groups to address recreational interests for residents of St. Albert.

Services provided by Recreation:

• Aquatic, recreation and fitness programs.

• Support volunteer and organizational development for community groups.
• Special event support.
• Community recreation grants.
