Parks & Trails

Discover our great outdoors! With one of the highest proportions of green space anywhere, our parks and trails are the pride of the community making St. Albert one of the prettiest small cities in Canada.

Red Willow Park runs the full length of the river valley and connects to neighbourhoods through 70 km of walking trails.

Fitness & Aquatics

When it comes to fitness and aquatics, St. Albert offers nothing but the best for dedicated athletes and those seeking great places for leisurely play.  Whether it's indoor facilities like Servus Place, the largest multipurpose recreation facility in Western Canada, or playful outdoor venues like the Woodlands Water Spray Park, St. Albert provides an abundance of recreation options.

Arenas & Outdoor Rinks

Put your recreation experience on ice at one of St. Albert's 13 outdoor rinks or five indoor arenas.  Many find the the City's rinks inspirational, as some of the greatest athletes to hit the surface have called St. Albert home, including Mark Messier, Jarome Iginla and Troy Murray.
