Protective Services
The City of St. Albert's Protective Services are comprised of fire and emergency medical services, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Municipal Enforcement. Protective Services works hard to ensure St. Albert is known as a safe city.
Fire & Emergency Medical Services

The St. Albert Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department is progressive, modern and proactive. This department responds to approximately 3,500 calls per year and provides fire investigation, prevention and public education services.

RCMP

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) provides police service to the City of St. Albert.

Municipal Enforcement

Municipal Enforcement responds to public complaints and enforces Municipal Bylaws and select Provincial Statutes. "Committed to our Community" is the slogan of the Municipal Enforcement Service.

Traffic Safety is important to our community. It is addressed through joint partnership with the RCMP, Municipal Enforcement Service and City of St. Albert Engineering Services. In addition to regular law enforcement, they coordinate traffic safety programs, such as photo radar, red light cameras and the speed awareness program.
