Kingswood Park

A Peaceful Park Experience

Kingswood Park marks the end of the Red Willow Trail System and is home of the St. Albert Peace Grove. Completed in 1992 and rededicated in 2007, the Peace Grove is part of the Peace Parks Across Canada Project. Nestled in the corner of the park, the structure includes 13 trees representing Canada's ten provinces and three territories and features a circular design symbolic of life, creativity and hope for the future.

Kingswood Park offers lots of open space and is a great spot for a picnic, game of frisbee or simple relaxation.  During the winter, the park is ideal for skaters and avid cross-country skiers, who can enjoy the snowy trails and take a break in the warming house.

How do I get there?

From St. Albert Road, turn east onto Sir Winston Churchill Avenue and follow it to approximately Kingswood Drive. You'll find the park on the north side of Sir Winston Churchill Avenue.
