Facility Information
If a full-service aquatics facility is what you're looking for, you'll find the ideal spot at Fountain Park Recreation Centre. Fountain Park provides both leisure and educational aquatic experiences for residents and visitors of all ages, as well as access to a racquet court, children's playground and meeting rooms.
The facility includes four bodies of water:
- a small leisure pool perfect for small children
- a large leisure pool with diving board, slide and overhead climbing apparatus, as well as a diving platform and cove
- an eight-lane competitive pool, used for both casual lane swim fitness and competitive meets
- a 40-person whirlpool with tots area
Additional facility features:
- sauna and steam rooms
- pool viewing area
- meeting rooms available for rent (great for birthdays and business meetings)
- Frolic's Classroom for preschool programs
- Frolic's Adventure Centre -- an indoor playground for children aged 6 months to 6 years. (This room is created to promote your child's motor skill development.)
- one convertible racquetball/squash court (The only courts available in St. Albert.)
- on site cafe serving fresh baked goods, lunches, snacks, coffee, tea, and specialty coffee
