Call For Illuminate Poets

Application Deadline: May 19, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

We are searching for writers and poets to delight and entertain listeners at the 7th Annual Illuminate on July 6th, 2024.

An enchanting evening of youth artwork, Illuminate features poets, writers, photographers, musicians and visual art spread throughout the trails along the river behind St. Albert Place. Amplify then invites all residents to stroll through the park, discovering the talents of our young, local artists.

This event is open to St. Albert and area poets and writers (Edmonton, Sturgeon County, Spruce Grove, etc.) Grade 7 to age 21. Artists can share a poem, short story or personal essay. However, works must be no longer than five minutes when recited. Space is limited and scheduling will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis so apply early! Scheduling will be sent to successfull applicants in early June.
