Environmental Master Plan
Plan Summary
|
The Environmental Master Plan (EMP) is a long-term action plan that identifies, prioritizes and sets specific objectives and targets for key environmental issues for both the City and the community. The EMP is the strategic document that will be the basis for future environmental plans and initiatives that will contribute to attaining the City of St. Albert's environmental goals and improving its overall environmental performance.
The EMP identifies eight goals and 16 targets that were identified through consultation with the public, the Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) and an Internal Corporate Technical Committee.
Through the annual Report on the Environment the City shares progress and achievement on the eight goals of the EMP. |
