The Opportunity:

Servus Credit Union Place is recruiting casual Caretakers to provide a full range of cleaning services for the night shift.   Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors

Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will have at least one year of previous related work experience and a strong dedication to a safe and customer service focused work environment. Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in custodial work and safe work practices would be beneficial. Applicants should have the ability to read, write, and accurately follow verbal and written instructions in English. WHMIS would be an asset. Must be physically able to lift loads up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods of time (8 hours), and perform repetitive movements throughout the course of a shift.

Hours of Work:

Night shift from 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Salary Range:

$14.90 – $17.20 per hour
