Canada Day

Coordinated by the City of St. Albert, Save On Foods has been co-presenting sponsor of the community Canada Day celebrations since 2008. 

Lions Park remains the primary location, with an estimated 10,000 in attendance throughout the event.  From 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, participants enjoy a variety of interactive activities, horse & wagon rides, and entertainment in St. Albert’s busiest park.

The 2012 Annual St. Albert Celebrates Canada Day will be a city-wide experience for residents and visitors.  Along with enjoying the many activities, the community can get involved by volunteering.

Park & Ride will be provided beginning at 10:30 am at St. Albert Centre.

The day will end with fireworks at Seven Hills at 11:00 pm.

St. Albert’s Canada Day celebration is a successful mix of community group and business cooperation, and a generous helping of volunteer support. 

On-site vendors include: St. Albert Host Lion's Club, Pizza 73, Fat Franks, and Kettle Corn.
