The City of St. Albert is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to assist in the administration and management of digital technology supporting business functions within Planning and Engineering Division. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and managing all AutoCAD and related databases in support of the City’s GIS system and providing technical support to the departments.
The Person: Communication is a key component of the duties and responsibilities of this position therefore well-developed interpersonal and customer services skills combined with diplomacy, and tact are essential. The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational and time management skills. |
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have completed Post Secondary education in Civil or Drafting technology or a related engineering program. We are seeking applicants with CTech or CET certification. Membership in a professional organization such as ASET would be beneficial. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of drafting experience. Candidates must possess strong computer skills including AutoCAD, MS Office Suite and have some experience with web design. |
Salary Range:

$47,229 – $57,460 per annum. The City of St. Albert also offers a comprehensive benefits package. |
