As many as 50,000 participants come to St. Albert to enjoy Rock 'n August a week-long festival held to celebrate the rumbles of chrome pipes and the rim shots of classic Rock and Roll music.

Outdoor and Indoor Farmers' Market

The Outdoor Farmers' Market, held in downtown St. Albert, is Western Canada's largest outdoor farmers' market, attracting over 10,000 people every Saturday from July to September.

St. Albert Botanic Park

The St. Albert Botanic Park is a crown jewel in the heart of the city. The park is situated on 18 acres next to the Red Willow Trail, just a short walk east of City Hall. Its many display gardens of roses, daylilies, asiatic lilies, dahlias, perennials and lilacs attract more than 10,000 visitors each year.

Guided tours include: Father Lacombe Chapel, the oldest building in Alberta; St. Albert's Grain Elevator Park, featuring two grain elevators and a 1920s replica train station; and the Little White School, a two-room school house that brings you back to the days of learning in 1948.
