AISH Transit Pass

St. Albert Transit offers transit passes to eligible AISH recipients living in St. Albert.  Passes are Adult Commuter Passes and are valid for service in St. Albert and Edmonton.

The AISH pass is not valid on St. Albert Handibus service.  Its purpose is to encourage persons with disabilities to use the fully accessible, regular transit system.

What is the cost?

  • The subsidized AISH pass will be 40% of the cost of an Adult Commuter pass.  For 2011, the AISH Pass will cost $38.00 per month.

How do you get your pass?

  • AISH passes will only be sold through Community and Protective Services at
St. Albert Place – 5 St. Anne Street, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card.
  • You will be asked to show your current Health Benefit card, photo ID and to verify that you are a resident of St. Albert.

Arrangements can be made to pay over the phone with a credit card after ID has been verified yearly.  Passes will then be mailed out.

Monthly passes will be available at Community and Protective Services by the 15th of the previous month.  For example, September passes will be available for purchase after August 15th.

The City of St. Albert or St. Albert Transit are not responsible for lost or stolen passes.  They will not be replaced.  You can purchase additional passes at the regular rate.
