Advisory Committees

The City of St. Albert is currently looking for community members to get involved with one or more of the following groups:

Dog Owner Advisory Group


The City of St. Albert wants to hear from interested dog owners on a number of dog-related issues including signage, possible future dog parks, education campaigns, and the animal control bylaw.

Events Hosting Strategy Technical Committee


Looking to work with a multi-department City of St. Albert team?  You will be reviewing the development tools required to support community events, assist and participate in the Events Hosting Forum, and to consider the possibility of developing a new signature event for St. Albert.

The Committee will be composed of representatives from the Culture, Servus Place, Business & Tourism Development, Public Works, and Recreation Services Departments, and five community members.

Grey Nuns White Spruce Park Advisory Committee


Do you have a passion for our City’s natural spaces? We are currently recruiting members for the Grey Nuns White Spruce Park Advisory Committee with the goal of creating a management plan for the forest.  Made up of Community Members and City Administration, the Committee will enable City Administration to effectively balance the management of the Grey Nuns White Spruce Park to maintain ecological integrity while allowing for recreational opportunities.

Skate Park Advisory Committee


Are you a Skate boarder or a User of the Skate Park?  If so, we want to hear from you!  We are currently seeking members for the Skate Park Advisory Committee.  The role of the group is to provide advice to City administration and Project Consultant on refurbishment and enhancement details and design.

The focus of the Committee is to provide direction, review, and comments related to identified Skate Park refurbishments and potential enhancements like signage, graffiti wall, etc.  This group will be comprised of up to eight individuals.
