Services for a Growing Community

City Manager Bill Holtby

The City of St. Albert strives to offer nothing but the best in programs and services to residents.  Every year, through our Community Satisfaction Survey, about 95% of residents provide positive feedback about the high quality of life they enjoy in our city. The abundance of parks and green space, walking and hiking trails, outstanding recreational and shopping amenities, and friendly atmosphere are some of the many reasons they provide for their ratings.

Not only are people choosing St. Albert as a place to live, but also as a place to work. We are becoming a regional destination for shopping, health care, professional services and other business services, and were recently rated one of the top ten places to do business in Alberta.

St. Albert is expecting both business and residential growth as a great deal of development opportunities arise in the upcoming years. The City is planning for the future, while ensuring that we will maintain the high quality of services residents have come to enjoy.

Whether it's recreational programming, caring for our environment, nurturing the talents of local performers and artists, or maintaining our roads and facilities, our employees are highly motivated and very dedicated toward the work they do in building our community.

Thank you for visiting the City of St. Albert website. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, I'm confident you will find a wealth of information about our community and City services.
