The 40 Developmental Assets

The Search Institute® describes The 40 Developmental Assets® as building blocks: positive experiences and personal qualities that young people need to grow up healthy, caring and responsible.

The 40 Assets are divided into External and Internal Assets, which are then distributed into four separate categories. Please visit the links below and discover what makes St. Albert youth strong, healthy and responsible.

In the Fall of 2008, St. Albert students from grades four through 11 were surveyed on their experiences with the 40 Developmental Assets.
